The earthquake in Japan has consequences on Canada and the filming of Breaking Dawn . After the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan over the past few hours, the alert has now extended to the coasts of America, which could be swept away by another tsunami. Yesterday Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and other players in the pack of wolves have been forced to leave the set on Vancouver Island in British Columbia . According to a report in People Kristen and Taylor were filming scenes in Tofino, a town on the coast, which can also be seen in New Moon. There was no fear for the safety of players, but for security reasons it is preferred to evacuate the set.
The Summit issued a statement: "A tsunami because of the alert, the filming of Breaking Dawn will be slow. All actors and crew were evacuated to the base camp of the production. All are safe and sound ".
